About Camillus

A quiet suburb found west of the city of Syracuse, about a 15-minute drive to the city center, Camillus is officially designated as a town. It has hilly streets and is regarded for its semi-rural atmosphere. One of the main attractions is the Erie Canal Park, which encompasses everything that the canal used to when it was in full operation. During the summer, there is a great Erie Canal Dinner Cruise which takes guests along the Erie Canal. Camillus is primarily served by the West Genesse and Westhill School Districts, both of which are regarded as excellent, which is another reason why this town appeals to families.
